ER at Blue Diamond, an Extension of Spring Valley Medical Center, is a freestanding emergency department on the northwest corner of Blue Diamond and Cimarron. It is is located at 9217 S. Cimarron Road, Las Vegas, 89178.
We serve the area with 24/7 emergency care in a convenient setting. As a full-service emergency room, ER at Blue Diamond is capable of treating life-threatening injuries in addition to less urgent issues.
ER at Blue Diamond has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Stroke Association® Heart-Check Mark for being an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
Emergency Services
ER at Blue Diamond provides 24/7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. Treatment is available for a wide range of emergency medical conditions, including:
- Chest pain
- Stroke
- Broken bones
- Minor lacerations
- Flu and other ailments
Our facility
The facility operates as a 24-hour extension of Spring Valley Hospital’s emergency department and features:
- Seven treatment rooms
- Three rapid medical exam rooms
- Advanced imaging services, such as CT, ultrasound and X-ray
- An on-site laboratory
It uses the Cerner FirstNet electronic medical record system that is compatible with Spring Valley Hospital and other Valley Health System facilities, and enables patients to access their private health information online, in a secure fashion. The ER is staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nursing, imaging and laboratory staff.

Sports Physicals for $50
ER at Blue Diamond is offering $50 sports physicals beginning Monday, June 17 and ending Tuesday, September 3, 2024, seven days a week, 24 hours a day for student athletes ages 18 and under. Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Insurance will not be billed. Student athletes should bring their designated forms for the emergency medicine physicians to complete.
